Day 19 22/03/09

We woke up early today as we have to go up to the peak of the mountain. We packed up our things and check out the hotel. We went back the same restaurant we had yesterday night for breakfast. We settle it quickly and we headed to the mountain. Since we thought it was very tiring to walk up the 1.6 km high mountain, we change our mind and took cable cars. Cost us 95RMB to go up and down the mountain. We started queuing up for the cable cars. The queue was very long, and the tour guide said it might take us 1 and a half hour to get to sit the cable car. When we were queuing, there were some typical China citizens cutting our queues. Worst still, they insert their children right in front of the queue and the parents from the back bit by bit cut the queue and said their children were in front. Some worse, place their grandparents in front in order to cut queue. There was a lady who cut all our queue until she reach Nicki and stefen. As Nicki and stefen were listening to their songs and intentionally ignore the lady, the lady was piss off. With our harsh words, the lady had no choice but to back off. Half way till queuing, we saw a mother helping her daughter to pee on the floor in public. There was another about 5 year old boy shit on the grass that really stunned us. Finally, it was my turn to take the ride. Shugen and I took one cable car up to the mountain. In the mid of the air, the scene was beautiful. The cable car was quite scary as it was very shaky. We reached the peak of the mountain and we explore the place and took quite a number of pictures. There were quite a few of interesting place like the good luck hall, the parents hall etc. On our way back to take cable car, I bought a souvenir for my family. Then we took cable car down the mountain and had dinner before take our bus back to our school. On our way back in bus, we sang songs together as the bus captain play MTV songs for us.

Reflection
Compare Singapore to China, Singapore is much cleaner and cleaner air then China. China’s people doesn’t care how you look at them, they just pee and shit in public, spit saliva on the floor.
